Submission terms

Submitting does not guarantee publication, featuring, or recognition. The artist keeps ownership of the artwork.

Rights granted

You grant Salon a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to display an accepted work on Salon’s exhibition and archive pages. Promotional use is separate and occurs only when you select that permission.

Your confirmations

You confirm that you are at least 18, that the submission is yours or you have the necessary rights, that your disclosures are accurate, and that the work does not unlawfully violate another person’s privacy, copyright, or other rights.

Review and removal

Salon may decline or remove work that is ineligible, unsafe, misleading, unlawful, or inconsistent with the open call. Recognition reflects the stated exhibition process and is not a financial prize unless an open call explicitly says otherwise.
