About Salon

Salon is a purpose-driven ecosystem in the field of art, designed to support artists and provide a professional environment for their activity, growth, and visibility.

The high value of art lies in its ability to help individuals engage in reflection; through art, emotions, ideas, and human experiences are communicated, raising both personal and social awareness. Salon views art not merely as a product, but as a powerful medium for intellectual, cultural, and social growth.

As one of the core components of 8Network, Salon is fully aligned with the values and philosophy of this network, with the mission of creating a fair, inspiring, and sustainable space for the artistic community.

The Salon

The Salon, or sometimes Paris Salon, beginning in 1667 was the official art exhibition of the Académie des Beaux-Arts in Paris. At the Salon of 1761, thirty-three painters, nine sculptors, and eleven engravers contributed. From 1881 onward, it was managed by the Société des Artistes Français.
